These coatings and coating systems like the functional powder coatings provide very high performance characteristics, solving the problems associated with high-use temperatures, high abrasion resistance, high impact resistance, and non-stick requirements.

Unlike the functional powder coatings, these applications are primarily thin-film coatings. This allows for highly precision masking and maintaining very tight tolerances of machine parts.
